WEST END STUDIO TOUR 2009
Artists in Ottawa West invite you to their studio tour on the weekends of Sept. 19 - 20 and 26 - 27 : 2009 from 10-5pm. Aptly W.E.S.T (West End Studio Tour) is a pleasant walking, biking or driving tour of studios and artist's homes located in the West end of Ottawa.
WEST is a free tour organized annually by the artists themselves.
This juried tour has evolved into a dynamic group of 15 artists who annually warmly invite the public to experience their latest creations.
Come meet us in our own environment. It is a rare opportunity for art lovers to leave the quiet of the gallery and see the places that art is actually made -- they might be surprised to discover the creativity happening in their own backyards.
Pick up a tour map at the tour base, Wallspace Gallery in the heart of Westboro, or at businesses throughout the west end, art stores and libraries across Ottawa.
The Artists in this year's tour are: Derek Aylen, Alice Hinther, Wendy & Shlomo Feldberg, Lynette Chubb, Alison Fowler, Deidre Hierlihy, David W. Jones, Garrie Bea Joyce, Andrew King, Lindsay Watson, Manju Sah, Barb Sohn, Edwina Sutherland, Jeff Wiebe, Paula Mitas Zoubek.

W.E.S.T. PROMOTIONAL CHAIR STOLEN!
Tour Artist Alice Hinther recently had her art chair stolen or accidently removed from her property. The chair is painted in the colours of the 2009 Tour, and was used to promote this year’s event. Please check the BLOG for more info on this unfortunate happening.
